Dr. Brown offers forensic psychological evaluations, consultation, and expert witness testimony for criminal and civil cases. She has experience with adults of all ages and  the full range of adult mental disorder diagnoses including developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness, and controversial/rarely diagnosed disorders.  She has  a strong background in academic research which is evidenced in her reliance on peer reviewed scientific literature, standardized assessments, methods with proven reliability and validity, and bias mitigation strategies. She has particular expertise in psychological testing and malingering assessment. Dr. Brown has been qualified as an expert in clinical and forensic psychology in courts across her home state of Louisiana and has been retained as an expert in criminal and civil cases in both state and federal courts.
